Saint Lucia & Arsenal sign multi-year partnership | Partner Activation | News

The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority (SLTA) has today announced a new multi-year global partnership with Premier League and Champions Cup winners, Arsenal Football Club as its Official Destination Partner.

The agreement begins at the start of the 2026/27 season and aims to deliver significant global exposure for Saint Lucia, in places such as the United Kingdom, one of the island’s leading tourism markets.

Arsenal Football Club has one of the biggest global fan bases in the world with millions of supporters. As Saint Lucia looks to grow visitor arrivals and bring the beauty and culture of the country to more people across the world, the official partnership means exposure to this network of receptive supporters to introduce them to Saint Lucia and ultimately drive economic benefits to the island’s tourism industry.

Saint Lucia is a small island in the Eastern Caribbean with a population of approximately 180,500. It is known for its striking scenery of lush rainforests, volcanic mountains and golden beaches with much to see and do, thanks to its rich heritage and culture.

Beyond tourism, the agreement will also support the development of an Academy Hub in Saint Lucia, creating mentorship and pathways for young players to develop their talent and reach their full potential, creating a sense of pride and belonging.

Dr. Ernest Hilaire, Saint Lucia’s Minister for Tourism, Commerce, Investment, Creative Industries, Culture and Heritage said;We are entering an exciting term as Arsenal’s Official Destination Partner, aligning with a club that has a loyal, global supporter base. As Premier League and Champions Cup champions, Arsenal begins the new season with momentum, while Saint Lucia continues to record strong visitor arrivals.

“This partnership is grounded in shared values of social responsibility, resilience and sustainability, reflected in both Arsenal’s work with its supporters and community,  and our commitment to our people. We look forward to showcasing Saint Lucia’s vibrant culture, dynamic events calendar and natural beauty to Arsenal supporters worldwide.”

Juliet Slot, Chief Commercial Officer for Arsenal Football Club said: “We’re delighted to partner with Saint Lucia, a world-renowned destination with a rich history and culture, that share our values of community and an always forward mindset. We want every Gooner, whether they’re in Islington or Saint Lucia, whether they’ve been supporting us for fifty years or five, to feel and see themselves in our club.

“This is an exciting partnership that gives us this opportunity and will help fuel our ambitions of growth and success.”

As part of the partnership, Saint Lucia will benefit from brand visibility at Emirates Stadium, across Premier League, Women’s Super League and cup matches reaching millions worldwide, as well visibility across Arsenal’s digital platforms and channels.

The collaboration will also include exciting joint marketing campaigns, supporter engagement initiatives and international promotions, further amplifying the island’s “Let Her Inspire You” campaign through both men’s and women’s first teams.

The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority has a strong track record of leveraging major sports partnerships, including collaborations with the New York Yankees, Toronto Raptors, Toronto Maple Leafs and Brooklyn Nets. As Saint Lucia expands its sports tourism offering and continues to attract international teams and athletes, the Arsenal partnership further strengthens its growing portfolio of events across football, cricket, rugby and swimming.
