With the curtain closed on our 2025/26 campaign, it’s time to plan ahead to next season.
We’ve compiled a list of all the key dates you should be aware of for 2026/27, including fixture announcements, transfer windows and more.
WHO WILL WE FACE IN PRE-SEASON?
Our pre-season friendly fixture and ticket details are not yet confirmed, so make sure you’re following our X, Instagram and Facebook channels to be informed when they’re announced!
WHEN DOES THE TRANSFER WINDOW OPEN?
The transfer window for this summer opens on Thursday, June 18, so we’ll be able to officially buy and sell players from that date until Deadline Day on Thursday, September 3.
WHEN DOES THE 2026/27 SEASON START?
Full fixture details for the Women’s Super League will be confirmed in the week commencing Monday, July 27.
For now, what we do know is that the campaign will kick off across the weekend of Friday, September 4 to Sunday, September 6. Final league fixtures are set to take place on Saturday, May 22.
WHEN DOES THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE START?
We will automatically go into the league phase of the competition thanks to our second-place finish in the WSL last term.
The draw will occur on Friday, September 4, in which we will discover our six league phase opponents.
The league phase will kick-off on Tuesday, September 22. Final group phase game will be on Wednesday, December 16.
The other league phase matches will take place on September 30-October 1, October 28-29, November 10-11, and November 18-19.
The draw for the knockout phase play-offs and quarter-finals will be held on Friday, December 18.
Should we be involved in them, knockout play-offs will be on Wednesday, February 3 or Thursday, February 4 (first leg) and Wednesday, February 10 or Thursday, February 11 (second leg).
Quarter-finals are set to be on Tuesday, March 23 or Wednesday, March 24 (first leg) and Wednesday, March 31 or Thursday, April 1 (second leg). The semi-final first leg will be on Saturday, May 1 followed by the second leg on Saturday, May 8.
The Champions League final will be held on Saturday, May 29 at Stadion Narodowy in Warsaw.
WHAT ABOUT THE FA CUP?
The Adobe Women’s FA Cup kicks off for us in the round of 32 stage on the weekend of Saturday, January 16.
Round of 16 matches will take place across the weekend of Saturday, February 20 and Sunday, February 21, before the quarter-finals on Saturday, March 20 or Sunday, March 21.
Semi-finals will be held on Saturday, April 10 or Sunday, April 11, followed by the final at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, May 15 or Sunday, May 16.
WHEN ARE THE INTERNATIONAL AND WINTER BREAKS?
The first international break will be from Monday, October 5 to Tuesday, October 13. The second break will be from Tuesday, December 1 to Saturday, December 5.
We will pause for a winter break from Monday, December 21 through to Sunday, January 3.
In 2027, the third international break of the season runs from Wednesday, February 24 to Saturday, March 6, followed by a fourth one on Tuesday, April 13 to Saturday, April 24.
The fifth and final international break comes after the season, from Monday, June 7, 2027 onwards, as many of our players get set for the FIFA Women’s World Cup, which will run from Thursday, June 24 to Sunday, July 25.
