Arsenal are arguably one of the best teams in the world now, boasting a fine squad depth in all positions. They are currently pursuing a historic treble after slumping to a 2-0 loss in the EFL Cup final against Manchester City on March 22. However, the Gunners are still expected to add new players to their star-studded squad after the conclusion of the 2025-26 campaign.
So, which five stars should Premier League giants Arsenal part ways with to make room in their current squad?
Thanks for the submission!
5 possible Arsenal summer outgoings
#5 Reiss Nelson
A graduate of the Hale End academy, Reiss Nelson has seen his career fail to gain momentum over the last few seasons. After struggling to make a positive impact at Fulham last campaign, the 26-year-old winger is enduring a below-par loan spell at Brentford. With Arsenal stacked in wide positions, Nelson is highly likely to be sold by the Premier League leaders this summer.
#4 Jakub Kiwior
Jakub Kiwior was signed from Spezia as a promising backup to Gabriel Magalhaes in January 2023. Despite his good displays, the Poland international was replaced by Bayer Leverkusen loanee Piero Hincapie last summer. After returning from loan at Porto, the 26-year-old could be sold as his team have the option to permanently sign the aforementioned Ecuadorian star.
#3 Fabio Vieira
Signed from Porto in the summer of 2022, Fabio Vieira is deemed one of the worst signings of Gunners manager Mikel Arteta’s reign. The left-footed playmaker could finally be offloaded this summer, with Eberechi Eze shining at the club this season. The 25-year-old Portuguese’s respectable loan spell at Hamburger could help him attract serious interest from clubs this year.
#2 Gabriel Jesus
A four-time Premier League-winning attacker, Gabriel Jesus has been a shadow of his former self over the last 18 months. He has started just two league matches for Arsenal this campaign as Viktor Gyokeres and Kai Havertz are ahead of him in the pecking order. The 28-year-old Brazilian could be put up for sale in the summer as his contract is set to expire in June 2027.
#1 Leandro Trossard
Signed from Brighton & Hove Albion in January 2023, Leandro Trossard is deemed a key starter for Arsenal right now. He has started 26 of his 40 total appearances in the ongoing season, registering 16 goal involvements. But, the 31-year-old Belgian could be let go this summer as the Gunners would realistically not want to lose one of their players on a Bosman move in 2027.
