William Gallas doesn’t believe Arsenal will win a treble this season. He backed them to win the Premier League, but not the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup.
The Gunners were on the hunt for a potential quadruple last month. However, they lost in the EFL Cup final against Manchester City on March 22 at Wembley. They are now alive in three competitions – the Premier League, the UEFA Champions League, and the FA Cup.

Gallas, however, believes they will win only one of them. The former Chelsea defender told Boyle Sports (h/t Tribal Football):
“They still have to be careful, but normally they would win the Premier League from this position. “Champions League? I don’t think so. The FA Cup all depends on the result between Liverpool and Manchester City.”
“If it’s Manchester City in the final, I think Manchester City will win. If it’s Liverpool vs Arsenal in the final, Arsenal will win. It’s a different style and I think Liverpool’s style suits Arsenal better,” he added.
The Gunners will next face Southampton at St. Mary’s Stadium in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Saturday, April 4. In the Premier League, they sit atop the standings, nine points above Manchester City, who have a game in hand. They will face Sporting CP in the Champions League quarter-finals.
Jamie Carragher highlights why Arsenal might struggle to win the Champions League
Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has said that the north London side will struggle to win the Champions League. He said that they don’t have “special players” in attack. He acknowledged that while they might win the Premier League, he said that they won’t win the Champions League.
Carragher said:
“I don’t think Arsenal have enough special players in attack and that would worry me a bit for the Champions League. I thought two years ago that (Bukayo) Saka and (Martin) Odegaard were going to be the real deal and be like (Mohamed) Salah and (Kevin) De Bruyne. They were nearly there.”
“They are probably going to win the league but if they do I don’t think any of the attacking players will think they’ve had an amazing season. It’s just not clicked,” he added.
The Gunners haven’t won a major trophy since their FA Cup win in 2020. They have finished second in the last three seasons in the Premier League. They are potentially just 15 games away from a treble.
