It was a busy 2025\/26 campaign for men\u2019s, women\u2019s and academy players out on loan.<\/p>\n
We\u2019ve rounded up the key stats and facts for each player so you\u2019ve got the lowdown on our loanees!<\/p>\n
Perhaps the most successful loan move was for Jakub Kiwior<\/strong> at Porto. He was a regular in defence, making 26 appearances in their Primeira Liga-winning season, earning a place in the division\u2019s Team of the Season.<\/p>\n He played another eight games in the UEFA Europa League and five in the Taca de Portugal, and also continues to represent Poland at international level. He will join the club permanently in July.<\/p>\n Fabio Vieira<\/strong> scored seven goals and provided six assists across 31 appearances in all competitions for Hamburg last season.<\/p>\n One of his goals was the opener against Bayern Munich from the penalty spot in January.<\/p>\n Back on home soil, Reiss Nelson<\/strong> got a goal and assist on his Brentford debut in a 5-0 Carabao Cup win over Grimsby Town in October.<\/p>\n In total he made 14 appearances for the Bees in all competitions, including 10 in the Premier League.<\/p>\n Overseas, Ethan Nwaneri<\/strong> made 11 appearances for Marseille, scoring two goals and providing one assist. His first goal came on his Ligue 1 debut in a 3-1 win at home to Lens.<\/p>\n Nwaneri was recently named in an England senior squad for the first time, on the bench for their 1-0 win over New Zealand.<\/p>\n Oleksandr Zinchenko<\/strong> made five Premier League appearances, got three in the Europa League, one in the FA Cup and one in the Carabao Cup in the first half of the season for Nottingham Forest before completing a permanent move to Ajax.<\/p>\n He had become the first Ukrainian to play for Forest.<\/p>\n In the Bundesliga, Karl Hein <\/strong>played two matches early in the season against Bayern Munich at St. Pauli. He was on the bench for most of the season before missing out towards the end of the campaign with a thumb injury.<\/p>\n At international level, Hein has continued to represent and captain Estonia, most recently in a 1-0 friendly win over Faroe Islands.<\/p>\n In women\u2019s football, Rosa Kafaji<\/strong> made 24 appearances in all competitions for Brighton & Hove Albion, scoring two goals. <\/p>\n Michelle Agyemang<\/strong> also began the season back on loan at Brighton but, after one goal in five Barclays Women\u2019s Super League games, her spell was cut short due to an ACL injury.<\/p>\n Jenna Nighswonger<\/strong> made eight appearances in the WSL for Aston Villa this season, providing one assist.<\/p>\n One tier below, Jessie Gale<\/strong> had a couple of loan spells, firstly at Portsmouth and then at Bristol City.<\/p>\n She had no problem finding the back of the net for either side, in total scoring nine goals and getting two assists across 27 matches in all competitions during the season.<\/p>\n Vivienne Lia<\/strong> made 12 appearances for Nottingham Forest across all competitions before moving to Sweden to join Hammarby IF on loan, helping them win the Svenska Cupen against BK Hacken.<\/p>\n She would go on to score one goal in 10 games for the side.<\/p>\n There were also two loan moves for Laila Harbert<\/strong>who began the campaign in America on loan at Portland Thorns, where she made five appearances in the NWSL, before going on loan to Everton in January and featuring once in the WSL against Chelsea.<\/p>\n Madison Earl<\/strong> made eight appearances for Ipswich Town and scored her first goal for The Tractor Girls in their FA Cup third round win against AFC Portchester, also picking up two assists to earn the Player of the Round award.<\/p>\n She then joined Glasgow City on loan in the SWPL 1 in January and made her debut in a 4-0 win over Partick Thistle in March.<\/p>\n Naomi Williams<\/strong> started three Subway Women\u2019s League Cup fixtures for Bristol City, while Cecily Wellesley-Smith<\/strong> began the season on loan at Leicester City and made her debut in the League Cup against Ipswich Town, before moving to Sweden for the second half of the season.<\/p>\n She headed in her first goal for FC Rosengard in a 3-0 win over Vaxjo DFF to end the Svenska Cupen campaign with a win. In total she scored two goals in 11 matches for the side.<\/p>\n In the men\u2019s academy, Ismeal Cabia <\/strong>made 43 appearances in all competitions for Shrewsbury Town, scoring three goals and provided two assists as they avoided relegation from League Two.<\/p>\n One of his goals was a stunning late leveller against Sutton United in the FA Cup. Another was a screamer from long distance in the 96th minute to earn a 2-2 draw with Fleetwood Town. He was one of the first names on the team sheet, regularly playing 90 minutes.<\/p>\n Charles Sagoe Jr <\/strong>scored two goals and provided five assists in 12 appearances for Kalmar FF across the Allsvenskan and Svenska Cupen in Sweden.<\/p>\n In League Two, Maldini Kacurri<\/strong> made 18 Morecambe appearances, scoring one goal and providing one assist from defence, regularly playing 90 minutes before completing a permanent move to Grimsby Town. He twice won Morecambe\u2019s Player of the Month award.<\/p>\n For Brabrand IF in Denmark, Lucas Nygaard<\/strong> made 12 appearances across the Danish second division season as they finished fourth in Group B before playing a series of relegation play-off fixtures. They ultimately managed to avoid the drop by seven points, Nygaard keeping two clean sheets during the business end of the season.<\/p>\n Louie Copley <\/strong>made nine appearances in League Two for Crawley Town, providing one assist, and Harrison Dudziak<\/strong> got five Braintree Town games under his belt in the National League in midfield across December and January.<\/p>\n William Sweet<\/strong> was at Dagenham & Redbridge, where he made 10 appearances in the National League South, scoring one goal in a 1-0 win away to Chesham United.<\/p>\n Daniel Oyetunde<\/strong> had a brief spell with St Albans City, appearing in an FA Cup first round defeat away to Burton Albion, before completing a permanent switch to Fort Wayne in the US, while Cam\u2019ron Ismail<\/strong> spent the first half of the season on loan with Uxbridge in the Southern Premier Division South.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Copyright 2026 The Arsenal Football Club Limited.
