Our final total of 121 ties our post-war record, set in 2016/17.

Here we break down who, how, when and where those goals went in:

SCORERS

For the second season in a row, we had 20 different players score for us (not including own goals), out of a maximum of 28 outfield players who represented us in 2025/26. We were just two shy of our highest figure in a season, when 22 Gunners found the net in the aforementioned 2016/17.

Viktor Gyokeres led the way in his debut season, netting 21 times across all competitions. That is the best return by a new arrival in their debut season with us since Alexis Sanchez bagged 25 in 2014/15, while only the Chilean forward, plus legends Ian Wright and Thierry Henry, can boast more in their first campaign in N5.

Three other players got into double figures: Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka and Eberechi Eze. It is the fifth season in a row that Bukayo has surpassed 10 or more goals, while Gabi has now done it in three of the past four campaigns. Eberechi meanwhile has hit double figures in four seasons in a row when you include his time at Crystal Palace.

Martinelli’s and Eze’s totals were boosted by the fact that they were our two players to hit a hat-trick during the campaign, with the Brazilian registering a treble at Portsmouth in the FA Cup, where Ebz became the fourth player to score a hat-trick in a competitive north London derby.

An honourable mention should also go out to Martin Zubimendi who hit a career-best six strikes, including a Premier League Goal of the Season contender against Nottingham Forest, while Jurrien Timber’s four strikes represent his best seasonal haul so far.

Top scorers in 25/26 (all comps)

Player

Goals

Viktor Gyokeres

21

Gabriel Martinelli

11

Bukayo Saka

11

God bless you

10

You Maduek

8

Leandro Trossard

8

Kai Havertz

7

Gabriel Jesus

6

Mikel Merino

6

Martin Zubimendi

6

Declan Rice

5

Gabriel

4

Jurrien Timber

4

Riccardo Calafiori

1

Max Dowman

1

Piero Hincapie

1

Ethan Nwaneri

1

Martin Odegaard

1

William Saliba

1

Ben White

1

Every goal from top scorer Gyokeres’ debut season

ASSISTS

As well as 20 goalscorers, we also had 20 players notch at least one assist during the campaign.
