Though we\u2019re in an international break with much of the competitive action pre and post-weekend, there\u2019s still some exciting encounters to watch this weekend. Our five best games of the weekend features some WSL derbies and World Cup warm-ups.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Five spicy fixtures you must watch this weekend:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Netherlands vs Norway<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Two teams that topped their qualifying groups unbeaten size each other up on Friday night, as the Netherlands welcome Norway to the Johan Cruyff Arena.<\/b><\/p>\n

The Oranje made light work of qualification and will have their sights set on making an impact in this summer\u2019s tournament.<\/p>\n

Norway, who have qualified for the World Cup for the first time since 1998, won all eight games in a flawless campaign, including home and away wins over Italy. The Norwegians are set to leave their trump card on the sidelines for this one, however, with Erling Haaland set to be rested.<\/p>\n

Arsenal vs Tottenham (WSL)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

It\u2019s a huge weekend of derbies in the WSL with Merseyside, Manchester and North London rivalries on show.<\/p>\n

Arsenal host Spurs on Saturday evening, as the Gunners look to maintain their push for Champions League qualification.<\/p>\n

A 3-1 win over Chelsea in midweek kept the holders on course for the UCL\u2019s last four, but there\u2019s work to be done to ensure the side do not miss out on qualification for next season\u2019s competition. Spurs, much improved this season, will aim to throw a spanner in the works.<\/p>\n

Mexico vs Portugal<\/b><\/h3>\n

Co-hosts Mexico continue their World Cup preparations against Portugal this weekend. Javier Aguirre\u2019s side have found form in 2026 with consecutive friendly wins over Panama, Bolivia and Iceland, but the Portuguese will represent a significant step up. The visitors to the Estadio Azteca will have genuine aspirations to win the World Cup this summer.<\/p>\n

England vs Uruguay<\/b><\/h3>\n

England will aim to end a 60-year wait for World Cup glory this summer, but first Thomas Tuchel will fine-tune his squad. The German has opted for a 35-man party for this month\u2019s break, with several fringe faces due to be handed minutes against Uruguay on Friday night.<\/p>\n

The Three Lions have a poor historical record against the South Americans with only three wins from 11 past meetings.<\/p>\n

Manchester United vs Manchester City (WSL)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

There\u2019s a massive Manchester Derby in the Women\u2019s Super League this weekend, as the top two go head-to-head with the title on the line.<\/p>\n

Manchester City need a maximum of eight points from their remaining four matches to seal a first WSL title in a decade, while second-placed Manchester United remain faint hopes of overhauling them.<\/p>\n
