Some are categorised as a ‘fortress’ while others are tarnished as being a ‘happy hunting ground’. But who has the strongest home record in the Premier League during the 2025/26 season?

Today, we’ll be looking at the five Premier League teams with strongest records at home during the current campaign. There are a couple of surpising outfits in there – can you guess who they are?

5. Fulham

<smartframe-embed customer-id="0fab81ce12e48a0794275e1d82449fb1" image-id="1074673240" style="width: 100%; display: inline-flex; max-width: 100%;"/>

Craven Cottage hasn’t been such an intimidating place to visit for a very long time. Marco Silva’s men have done themselves proud this season, with European qualification still being a distinct possibility at this late stage of the campaign.

In many ways, it has been necessary – their away form has been comparitively dreadful this season, winning just four games out of a possible 15 on the road in 2025/26.

Nevertheless, having won over half of their home fixtures, Fulham are ninth in the Premier League table. They’re above the likes of Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest and Tottenham Hotspur – all of whom qualified for European football at the end of last season.

4. Aston Villa

<smartframe-embed customer-id="0fab81ce12e48a0794275e1d82449fb1" image-id="1074769034" style="width: 100%; display: inline-flex; max-width: 100%;"/>

Aston Villa’s shoddy current form aside, one cannot ignore how strong the Villans looked earlier in the season – especially so at Villa Park.

With ten home wins from a possible 16, most teams have fallen to Villa’s sword upon their journey to the Midlands.

Sadly, not only has their overall current form plummeted, their home form has also taken a hit. Unai Emery’s men have won just two of their last six Premier League games at Villa Park – during this span of time, they also suffered another defeat at home against Newcastle United in the FA Cup.

3. Manchester United

<smartframe-embed customer-id="0fab81ce12e48a0794275e1d82449fb1" image-id="1074294781" style="width: 100%; display: inline-flex; max-width: 100%;"/>

Say what you want about their most recent performances – Michael Carrick has turned Old Trafford into a frightening place to visit once again in 2025/26.

With just two losses at home all season, most of Manchester United’s worst results have taken place away from home in the current campaign.

The Red Devils haven’t lost a home game since November, when Everton scored the upset in a 1-0 win for the Toffees – they haven’t lost at Old Trafford since Carrick took the baton from Ruben Amorim.

2. Manchester City

<smartframe-embed customer-id="0fab81ce12e48a0794275e1d82449fb1" image-id="1072587210" style="width: 100%; display: inline-flex; max-width: 100%;"/>

All in all, this has been a poor season for Manchester City. Nevertheless, even on their worst day, Pep Guardiola’s men are still a very intimidating prospect to face at the Etihad Stadium.

The Sky Blues have only one defeat to their name at home in the Premier League this season, which came all the way back in August against Tottenham. They have held a tight ship at the Etihad since then, although they did pick up another home defeat against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League.

Despite their League Cup final win, this has not been one of Guardiola’s better seasons at City – will he still be in place at the start of next season?

1. Arsenal

<smartframe-embed customer-id="0fab81ce12e48a0794275e1d82449fb1" image-id="1072162418" style="width: 100%; display: inline-flex; max-width: 100%;"/>

You all saw this coming. Not only are Arsenal sitting at the top of the real Premier League table, they have also been the best home team in the division on average.

Like City, the Gunners have only lost once at home this season. Manchester United were the ones to do it, when they stunned Mikel Arteta’s men in a 3-2 thriller back in January.

On top of this, Arsenal have also been the strongest away team in the Premier League this season – the league title is theirs to lose as things stand.

Home grounds have been described in many ways over the years.
