Arsenal forward Kai Havertz has made it clear that he wants to remain at the Emirates beyond the end of the season.<\/strong><\/p>\n The German has been named as one of eight first-team players<\/strong> who could be offloaded by sporting director Andrea Berta as part of a squad revamp, but when asked about the speculation, Havertz ruled out a departure:<\/p>\n \u201cI haven\u2019t heard anything about that (an exit), and I haven\u2019t read anything about it either. I feel right at home at Arsenal. I think everyone there is also very, very happy with me.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cSure, it wasn\u2019t a very easy season, but I definitely see my future at Arsenal, in London.\u201d<\/p>\n Over the past two seasons, the 26-year-old has spent 283 days on the sidelines due to injury, missing a total of 63 games for club and country.<\/p>\n That record will raise doubts about whether Havertz will be offered a new contract. His current deal expires in 2028, and he earns \u00a3280,000 a week, making him the second-highest earner in the first-team squad behind Bukayo Saka.<\/p>\n The chances of a renewal on similar terms are next to zero, and his value will begin to depreciate over the next 15 months.
