Jamie Carragher has revealed his \u2018worry\u2019 for Arsenal after the Carabao Cup final defeat to Manchester City and urged Mikel Arteta to replace Viktor Gyokeres this summer.<\/p>\n

Arsenal spurned their first chance to win a trophy this season, losing 2-0 to Premier League title rivals Man City at Wembley.<\/p>\n

The Gunners were hoping to not only lift their first major trophy since 2020 but keep alive their hopes of a historic quadruple.<\/p>\n

But after a cagey opening 45 minutes Arsenal were outplayed in the second half, with Nico O\u2019Reilly\u2019s quickfire brace earning Pep Guardiola his fifth Carabao Cup trophy.<\/p>\n

Despite the setback, Arsenal can still enjoy a hugely successful season as they look to clinch their first Premier League title in 22 years and win the Champions League for the first time.<\/p>\n

Carragher does not expect Man City\u2019s Carabao Cup win to lead to a Premier League title but says Arsenal\u2019s lack of \u2018special attacking players\u2019 is a \u2018worry\u2019.<\/p>\n

Only Viktor Gyokeres has hit double figures for Arsenal this season but Carragher still has doubts over the Swedish striker and believes he should be replaced in the summer.<\/p>\n

\u2018I\u00a0don\u2019t\u00a0think it will affect the league because Arsenal\u00a0have\u00a0got such a big gap,\u2019 the Liverpool legend and ex-England defender said on The Overlap<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u2018But my thing with Arsenal now \u2013 and you could\u00a0probably say\u00a0this with every team in the Premier League \u2013 is there\u2019s not enough special players.<\/p>\n

\u2018Arsenal\u00a0are\u00a0the best team in the league and have an amazing record but I still look at the attack and think\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0only okay.<\/p>\n

\u2018There\u2019s\u00a0no star player and sometimes you need that player when\u00a0you\u2019re\u00a0not playing well like they\u00a0wasn\u2019t\u00a0in the cup final.<\/p>\n

\u2018I\u00a0don\u2019t\u00a0think Arsenal have enough special players in attack and that would worry me a bit for the Champions League.<\/p>\n

\u2018I thought two years ago that (Bukayo) Saka and (Martin) Odegaard were going to be\u00a0the real deal\u00a0and be like (Mohamed) Salah and (Kevin) De Bruyne. They were\u00a0nearly there.<\/p>\n

\u2018Arsenal\u00a0are\u00a0probably going\u00a0to win the league but if they\u00a0do\u00a0I\u00a0don\u2019t\u00a0think any of the attacking players will think\u00a0they\u2019ve\u00a0had an amazing season.\u00a0It\u2019s\u00a0just not clicked.\u2019<\/p>\n

Responding to Arsenal legend Ian Wright discussing the performance of Gyokeres against Man City, Carragher added: \u2018You still need to buy a centre forward.\u2019<\/p>\n

Arsenal have been linked with a move for Julian Alvarez ahead of the summer transfer window and the ex-Manchester City striker recently suggested he could leave Atletico Madrid at the end of the season.<\/p>\n
