Everton have reportedly emerged as leading candidates to sign one of Arsenal\u2019s players ahead of the summer. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Arsenal went into the international break still on for the treble, as they sit top of the Premier League, and clear of rivals Man City by nine points. They also remain in the FA Cup quarter-finals, and the Champions League quarter-finals.<\/p>\n

Mikel Arteta will be delighted, but he will have reservations after suffering a 2-0 defeat to Man City in the Carabao Cup final.<\/p>\n

One player who struggled in that game was Ben White, who struggled against wingers Jeremy Doku and Rayan Cherki. Despite that, he claimed a spot in Thomas Tuchel\u2019s England squad for the March international break.<\/p>\n

Everton are the leading candidates to sign Ben White<\/h2>\n

Despite White making his return to the England squad, he is in contention to be sold in the summer, as White has lost the starting right-back spot for Arsenal to Jurrien Timber, who has been one of the best in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

According to FourFourTwo<\/a>Everton are interested in signing White, and are currently the \u2018leading candidates\u2019 to sign the Arsenal defender. It would be an excellent signing for Everton, especially if they are able to secure European football, which they could do under David Moyes.<\/p>\n

White has been a reliable back up for Arsenal this season in all competitions, making 19 appearances in all competitions, scoring one goal, and providing two assists, a decent return for someone who has been fighting for regular minutes.<\/p>\n

Arsenal signed him for around \u00a352m from Brighton in 2023, so would expect to get at least \u00a340m for the England international, who now finds himself in contention for Thomas Tuchel\u2019s England squad after not appearing for England since March 2022.<\/p>\n
