Newcastle United are prepared to get rid of Tonali as they are not on track to qualify for next season\u2019s Champions League, and the player is valued at \u00a370 million on Transfermarkt<\/a>an amount that Man United should be able to match for the midfielder.<\/p>\n

Tonali a good long-term replacement<\/h2>\n

Unlike some of their recent investments, especially Manuel Ugarte, Sandro Tonali gives the guarantee of performing superbly in the Premier League as well as doing decently in the Champions League for Manchester United.<\/p>\n

His qualities need little introduction as he thrives in winning the ball in deeper-lying positions on the pitch and moving it forward, and at 25 years of age, his best years are yet to come, so he promises to be a brilliant long-term option for the Red Devils.<\/p>\n

It comes as no surprise that he is willing to join United over Arsenal given that he would have a regular role at Old Trafford. The same cannot be said should he sign for Mikel Arteta\u2019s side, where there is already adequate quality and depth in the engine room.<\/p>\n

Tonali not playing in the World Cup with Italy this summer might signal that a resolution on his future could be reached in the early days of the off-season period, so Man United could have a key signing available to them during pre-season.<\/p>\n
