Liverpool are in battle with Arsenal and Chelsea over a deal to sign Real Madrid winger Arda G\u00fcler this summer, according to TEAMtalk<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

G\u00fcler\u2019s impressive performances in Turkey for Fenerbah\u00e7e made him a subject of keen interest from several European elites before Madrid trumped their rivals to sign him in 2023.<\/p>\n

He impressed in his first season with eight goal contributions and became a first-team regular in the concurrent seasons under Carlo Ancelotti, Xabi Alonso and the newly appointed interim coach Alvaro Arbeloa, who replaced his compatriot in January.<\/p>\n

He has been a key part of the Los Blancos squad, netting five goals and providing 13 assists in all competitions, the joint most of any Madrid player alongside Vin\u00edcius Jr, who also has 13.<\/p>\n

The youngster is set to become a subject of keen interest again this summer, especially with Madrid plotting attacking reinforcements, and several Premier League clubs are now vying for his signature.<\/p>\n

Among the clubs looking to sign Guler is Liverpool, according to TEAMtalk<\/em>which claims that last season\u2019s Premier League champions have held a \u2018strong interest\u2019 in the versatile midfielder and are \u2018firmly\u2019 in the race to sign him.<\/p>\n

The report adds that Arne Slot\u2019s side have maintained regular contact with the Turkey international\u2019s camp as well as Madrid as they look to position themselves in a strong position for his potential transfer.<\/p>\n

According to the report, the Reds consider the 21-year-old a \u2018generational talent\u2019 who can play various positions in the attack.<\/p>\n

However, competition for a player of Guler\u2019s quality is expected to grow, and it\u2019s no surprise TEAMtalk adds that Premier League rivals Chelsea and Arsenal are determined to initiate formal talks for his transfer should Madrid make him available in the summer.<\/p>\n
