Manchester United are considering a move for Arsenal left-back Myles Lewis-Skelly, according to reports.<\/p>\n

The 19-year-old has struggled to secure a regular role under Mikel Arteta this season, starting just one game in the Premier League and 11 more spread across the Champions League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup.<\/p>\n

United, meanwhile, are in the market for a new left-back to provide competition for Luke Shaw and to bolster the squad ahead of a likely return to the Champions League next season.<\/p>\n

According to The Daily Mail<\/a>Lewis-Skelly has been \u2018offered up to United by intermediaries\u2019 ahead of the summer transfer window.<\/p>\n

The report adds that United have Lewis-Skelly \u2018under consideration\u2019.<\/p>\n

Speaking earlier this month, Arteta insisted that Lewis-Skelly is \u2018doing well\u2019 at Arsenal despite his lack of consistent playing time in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

\u2018He\u2019s had very good moments in the season, he\u2019s had other moments when he hasn\u2019t played that much.<\/p>\n

\u2018Obviously a few days ago in the FA Cup he was suspended and he could not play so there are various reasons.<\/p>\n

\u2018Sometimes as well, the good form of your teammates is another factor that contributes to that, but he\u2019s doing well.\u2019<\/p>\n
